Mohnish Chandra Saha is a regular Bengali boy who loves to write poetry. The Intellectual traces his journey from an amateur poet to a popular award-winning author and eventual fall into the mud from the pinnacle of success. The story explores how ‘the club’ – a community of elites and intellectuals exercise hegemony over the fate of creative minds, and how logical voices can be collectively muffled if they fall out of line.
