Munger is a town in Bihar in Eastern India infamous for its illegal arm factories and underground trade of country-made weapons. ‘Made in Munger’ is essentially an autobiography of a Munger-made pistol which passes through many hands witnessing a series of crimes until it completes a full cycle of retribution. Crimes, especially heinous crimes against women will give the reader a perspective on the socio-economic and socio-political realities of contemporary rural India. The six intertwined crime stories could make the reader sad and angry; at the same time could make them love the women in their lives – mother, sister, wife and daughter even more than before.
