Chirajit Paul is an Indian Novelist and Playwright. He has, among his feathers 17 titles including 10 Novels/Novellas, 5 Plays, 2 Non-fiction books and 2 collections of his selected works.

Paul has written across genres including Political fiction, Historical fiction, Mythological fiction, Psychological fiction, Science fiction, Black comedy, Magical realism, Crime and Fantasy.

In 2018, Paul wrote an experimental Science-fiction Geo-political war story, Republic of Wisdomia. Over the years it turned into a compelling series themed around the global south challenging the supremacy of the north on diverse matters of statecraft. He calls it 'anti-imperialism' genre of fiction - perhaps the only one of its kind in the world.  

In Non-fiction, he has written deeply researched books on History and Politics.
